Facilities Administrative Coordinator [ID: 1027]
Position Summary:

Responsible for supporting Facilities Planning & Institutional Services department through the development, implementation, management and collaboration of administrative projects and assignments.  Incumbents work in an administrative related capacity enabling the department to function fiscally, operationally, or administratively.  Incumbents will develop strategies to accomplish goals, implement policies and procedures, and develop and monitor an assigned budget.  Incumbents may need to perform professional level work within assignment and may supervise employees.

 

Typical Essential Duties:

  • Work collaboratively with all members of Facilities Planning & Institutional Services as well as colleagues throughout the college;
  • Communicate to team members and customers in a succinct and timely manner on a regular basis;
  • Create, coordinate, implement and manage administrative projects, programs and events;
  • Provide direction, feedback and guidance to department heads on requests, directives, and correspondence.
Compensation: $37,923.80 - $47,404.74

Requirements:

Education:

Associate's degree in a related field to assigned area.

Experience:

Three (3) years of executive-level administrative support, project management, or related experience to assigned area.

  • Compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data and information;
  • Exceptional attention to detail in both written and verbal communications.
  • Complete discretion is required because this position involves access to sensitive information;
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities, prioritize and organize workload in order to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a succinct and timely manner on a regular basis;
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and understanding technical and statistical information;
  • Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with subordinates, coworkers, supervisor, and the general public sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction;
  • Knowledge and application of pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations.

Physical:

  • Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
