Academic Program Support Coordinator [ID: 164]
Position Summary:

Responsible for coordination of marketing and enrollment activities for new and continuing baccalaureate programs.  Represents the four year programs at Educational Student Services meetings. Assists in the coordination of baccalaureate student activities and the use of student fees.

Typical Essential Duties

  • Maintains close working relationship with enrollment management on execution of enrollment activities including open houses, and visits in our 3 county service areas;
  • Determines and manages student fees including distribution to individual programs and college wide functions;
  • Determines scholarship allocation and insures proper distribution;
  • Works with baccalaureate deans to continue to research and establish student honorary groups, professional student organizations and activities;
  • Represents the baccalaureate program at Educational and Student Services meetings;
  • Supports the activities and initiatives of the Senior and Associate Vice President.

This is the third of four levels in the Marketing/Communications series. Incumbents are responsible for managing a marketing or communications related function or service for the College by managing the daily activities, prioritizing assignments, determining marketing and communication plans, developing plans to approach marketing projects, implementing the project solutions, and performing related professional level marketing or communications work in assigned area.  Incumbents may be responsible for supervising employees or student workers, and developing and monitoring a budget.

Compensation: $52,785.40 - $65,981.75

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field to assigned area; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Eight (8)years educational related or marketing/recruitment experience. Experience in working with senior administrators and in teams. Experience in developing marketing materials and strategies are desired. Familiarity with the baccalaureate programs 3 county service area is preferred.

Physical:

  • Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Coordinates marketing and communication initiatives on assigned projects, which include: developing and implementing marketing plans; negotiating media sponsorships; analyzing customer trends; managing information and measuring progress on tasks, projects, and goals; and performing related activities.

Developing a variety of marketing and communication materials to promote programs and services, which includes creating and editing marketing materials for inclusion on the website; developing timelines; and determining distribution methods in order to reach intended audience(s).
