This class is the first of two levels in the Risk Management series. Incumbents coordinate and maintain employee safety programs. Responsibilities may include scheduling and coordinating required trainings and medical evaluations; coordinating vendors for inspections; maintaining compliance with State and Federal health and safety regulations; conducting safety inspections; resolving safety issues; and maintaining training records.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate's degree in a safety or health related field.
Experience:
Three years related experience.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may be acceptable in lieu of those requirements listed above.

Prepares and maintains a variety of operational documents, records, and audit reports. |

Performs other duties of a similar nature or level. |
