Data Quality Coordinator - FL TRADE Grant [ID: 854]
Position Summary:

The Data Quality Coordinator position is responsible for overall data collection, analysis, quality assurance, database management, and reporting of project outcomes under the Florida TRADE grant, a statewide initiative for advanced manufacturing training through the U.S. Department of Labor. This person will report to the Florida TRADE Director and work in coordination with the program 3rd Party Evaluator. This position is grant funded.

Typical Essential Duties

  • Oversees quality of data submitted by Consortium members and assures that data is entered into the tracking system in a timely manner.
  • Builds internal process system to review information and critical elements to review and compare data.
  • Produce Annual, Quarterly, and Ad-Hoc reports as required.
  • Work with the Florida TRADE Director, 3rd Party Evaluator, and SPC Institutional Research and Effectiveness team to identify, develop, and implement appropriate tools and strategies to monitor and assess program effectiveness.
  • Work with the Florida TRADE Director, 3rd Party Evaluator, and SPC Institutional Research and Effectiveness team to develop, deliver, and monitor Continuous Improvement plans, and opportunities.

The classification is responsible for managing assigned projects by acting as a resource to project/initiative owners throughout the college.  Responsibilities include working with project owners in developing and tracking project timelines, developing and reporting key metrics, and coordinating with other areas within the college on needs, training, communication; and may determine staffing, scheduling, and the use of resources; developing internal and external relationships and partnerships; developing project plans and providing project status updates and evaluations; planning, conducting, and analyzing research/information; and may be responsible for developing and monitoring budget. 

Compensation: $55,952.53 - $69,940.66

Requirements:

Education:

 Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

Three (3) years experience in statistical analysis or applied research.

* An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may be acceptable in lieu of those requirements listed above.

Knowledge:

  • Project management principles, practices, and tools;
  • Project development, scheduling, monitoring, and control systems;
  • Applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, rules, codes, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Research methods;
  • Policy and procedure development practices;
  • Basic budgeting principles.

Skills:

  • Managing projects;
  • Analyzing and interpreting project specifications, design plans, construction plans, schematic drawings, flow charts, project schedules, and/or blueprints;

Physical:

  • Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
