Under the direction of the Executive Director of Grants Development, the Grant Writer will be responsible for the development, writing, editing and submission of grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies (local, state and federal). Additional responsibilities will include: researching and disseminating funding source information to the college community; preparing proposals budgets and budget revisions; coordinating cross-functional teams; supporting the grant management process; and assisting in other activities that support the grant office. The position requires expertise in grant writing, excellent communication skills, experience in needs assessment and analysis, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
