HR Success Coach [ID: 910]
Position Summary:

The Success Coach will routinely interact with individuals to provide proactive supervisor and employee support by actively proposing, creatively designing and implementing effective methods to enhance performance. This position will be involved in a range of projects including Needs Assessment, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Growth, Team Building, and Change Management. Responsibilities include planning, designing, coordinating and facilitating educational sessions and program activities to maximize employee success.


This position will coach, support and train supervisors to positively impact employee success. This position will maximize performance and engagement and provide supervisors with industry-cutting edge supervisory techniques and tools. The Success Coach will assist in conducting individual employee and team needs analysis, developing action plans to accomplish goals, and addressing performance issues.

Requires ability to proactively coach and motivate individuals, ability to plan and implement positive change initiatives, ability to diagnoses key performance indicators to address performance issues, and proactively influence success at all levels within the College.  The Success Coach must have a high level of professionalism and service responsiveness to internal customers with an open and collaborative communication style that encourages teamwork and cooperation, and must be a strong role model and coach.   Effective written, verbal communication, presentation, and curriculum development skills are essential for this position. Additionally, the use of excellent negotiation skills is highly desired.   Complete discretion is required because this position involves access to sensitive human resource information. The Success Coach will also establish effective relationships with members of the college community.

 

  • Collaborates with supervisors and employees, and works closely with Human Resource colleagues and key stakeholders to promote employee growth and success strategies;
  • Provides superior customer service related to recruitment, on-boarding, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Growth Plans, Team Building, and Change Management;
  • Collaborates with supervisors, employees and teams to identify talent acquisition/management needs;
  • Conducts individual employee and team needs analysis, develops action plans to accomplish goals, and diagnoses key performance indicators to address performance issues;
  • Monitors and responds timely to Early Intervention and Recognition action prompts.
Compensation: $46,226.34 - $64,716.88

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Training and Development, Business, Education, Psychology, Human Resources or a related field required.

Experience:

Four (4) years human resouece experience.

Knowledge:

  • Adult Education (androgogy) methods;
  • Two (2) years coaching experience required;
  • Four (4) years supervisory experience required;
  • Human resources principles and practices;
  • Customer service principles;
  • Training principles and practices in assigned area of responsibility;
  • Needs analysis methods;
  • Curriculum development principles and practices;
  • Program and project development principles and practices;
  • English language, grammar, and punctuation;
  • Applicable local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations;
  • Computers and related software applications.

Physical:

  • Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
