Education for me has been ongoing.  I found myself returning to the university setting at various times when I simply needed another fix of academia.  My teaching has been predominately high school English, all levels including AP.  Various stints in adjunct work at local colleges provide my Comp 101/102 experience.  Later years found me in a guidance office doing primarily college entance advisory.  After officially retiring (in Idaho at the time), I continued my college counseling at International American Schools in Kuwait and Taiwan.  Now, again "officially" retired, I find myself back at it and pretty much delighted, both with my digs here in Pinellas and the prospect of helping students to find their "writing selves."
