Ben Alonzo, MS - Adjunct Professor, Computer Science and Information Systems
Professor Alonzo holds a MS in Geoscience, MS in Health Promotion, MS in Information Technology, MS in Medical Nutrition, and a BS in Geoscience. He teaches a wide variety of college courses, including earth science, meteorology, environmental science, computer applications, operating system security, PC repair, and web programming. Alonzo's diverse work and extensive college teaching experience allows him to deliver unique learning experiences for students, focusing on practical real-life applications.
Ben's favorite topics are cybersecurity and enterprise computer equipment. He is fluent in PHP, HTML, XML, Java, C++, and Python. He also likes to build custom business and gaming computer systems.
Ben loves everything science and tech. He holds numerous professional industry certification and licenses, ranging from information technology to healthcare. His experience spans almost 20 years of employment experience with some of the biggest names in science and technology, including IBM and Intuit.
