I am an adjunct instructor in the Math Department with 20 plus years experience at St. Petersburg College at the Clearwater, Seminole and E Campuses. In addition to teaching, I work professionally as a marketing research analyst. I'm an example of how Mathematics can be utilized in your every day career.

My education includes a Bachelors in Accounting from Auburn University, an MBA from Florida State University and post-graduate Mathematics work at Nova Southeastern University.

My philosphies on how best to learn math online are the following:

 1. Don't get behind. Follow the course schedule, as this a very hard course to play catch up.

 2. Find a study group, tutor, or partner. Math is best learned via examples and having some one  to  discuss them is of great assistance.

 3. Don't give up. It is very common to have "math anxiety." So don't quit before even trying. Its often not nearly as bad as you may think.
