I have been teaching for over 10 years at the graduate, undergraduate, and secondary school levels. I've taught biomolecules, organic chemsitry, and general chemistry at the college/university level; I've taught physics, chemistry, forensic science, and environmental science at the secondary school level. I also worked as a research assistant at USFINMRF (USF Interdisciplinary Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility) for two years.

I hold both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Biomedical Physics from the University of South Florida. My research for my MS was in synthesizing novel thiosulfonate compounds to combat the growing threat of multi-drug resistant bacteria.

I graduate in 12/25 with a Doctor of Education in Applied Learning Sciences from the University of Miami. My research for my EdD is in increasing competency in androgogical virtual settings through evidence-based training methods.

A little bit about me: I live just outside Tampa with my husband and two children. I have two dogs: a mini Schnauzer named Sally and a Cairn terrier named Bowie. I love teaching and hope to share my love of science with my students!
