My Ph.D. research focused on the management approaches within employee-owned firms, which are grounded in the theory of workplace democracy. I also graduated from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) with two Master’s degrees. I have a Master’s Degree in Technology Management - Information Systems & Services and an MBA as well as having a Chief Information Officer (CIO) certification from the Federal CIO Council and UMUC. I am in the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi, Delta Mu Delta, and Alpha Sigma Lambda.
I am a retired federal government employee as of January 2020. I have more than 25 years of experience in the IT field and 18years in college (as an adult learner) so I can identify with your challenges and joys in this endeavor. My professional interests are teaching and research in the Business discipline. My personal interests are community service and motorcycling. You can find me on many charity rides for everything from Breast Cancer to Fallen Firefighters.
