About me:
I am employed full-time at the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County as the Program Manager in the Office of Overdose Prevention.
My instructing career began at the University of South Florida in the Cellular, Microbiology, & Molecular Biology Department where I was able to expand, and offered an adjunct position at St. Petersburg College. I enjoy teaching as I feel it keeps me "young" and somewhat in touch with pop-culture (even though I'm slowly losing my grip on it.) I have had the privilege of teaching a number of diverse subjects at SPC, including Biology, Microbiology, several Biotechnology components, BACC-BIO Genetics, and Cell Biology. I have also taught Biology and Environmental Biology as an adjunct instructor at Keiser University.
Aside from my love of the sciences, you can find me enjoying the Florida natural park systems, as well as beaches, gardens & preserves.
