Kristina Feher is the managing member of Feher Law, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Feher practices in the areas of bankruptcy and family law matters. Dr. Feher received her B.S. in Criminology from Barry University and her law degree from Thomas M.Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Feher is a St. Petersburg native and attended St. John Vianney Catholic School and the Center for Advanced Technologies (CAT) at Lakewood High School.
Dr. Feher's teaching philosophy is to create an environment where students can learn the skills necessary to enter the workforce as a prepared and confident paralegal. Equally important is a student's desire to work hard, learn the content, and acquire practical skills through drafting, discussion, and presentation. I believe a professor should foster a positive learning environment. I believe a student should be ready, willing, and able to learn during each and every class session. I believe if a student works hard, follows the syllabus, and completes the assignments, they will be successful not only in my class, but in the work force as well.
Dr. Feher serves as a Trustee to the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation. She is the Executive Director-Elect for the Canakaris Family Law Inn of Court. She serves on the board of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association. She also serves as a 6th Judicial Circuit Representative for The Florida Bar’s Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee.
Dr. Feher is a graduate of the innaugural class of the William Reese Smith Jr. Leadership Academy of The Florida Bar. From June 2014 to June 2018, Kristina served on The Florida Bar Young Lawyer's Division Board of Governors. Dr. Feher is a Past-President of the Pinellas County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (PFAWL), a past Chair of a Sixth Circuit Grievance Committee, and the Past Chair St. Petersburg Bar Association's Young Lawyer Section.
Dr. Feher works with Community Law Program and was the recipient of the Community Law Program Young Lawyer Volunteer of the Year Award for 2012 and the Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in 2019. Dr. Feher also previously handled pro bono work for the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking for individuals from other countries who have been subjected to involuntary labor, servitude and debt bondage.
