Hello everyone. My name is Jennifer Fernandez. I am a Florida native and have lived in Pinellas County my entire life. I have three daughters, a poodle, and three cats. My family and I love to spend time at the beach.
I graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1992. I hold a bachelor's degree in Business, a master's degree in Education with ESOL and Reading Endorsements, and an Ed. D. in Program Development, Educational Innovation. My teaching experience includes teaching all grades kindergarten through grade 12, and undergraduate college level courses in both lower and upper divisions. As an SPC adjunct starting in 2010, I taught Developmental Reading and Writing and EAP. I have also facilitated courses for Pinellas County School teachers working on their ESOL Endorsement and worked on the Race to the Top grant with the Florida Department of Education. In 2016, I became ESOL Faculty at St. Petersburg College for the College of Education.
I love teaching and learning from my students. I hope you enjoy learning and teaching as much as I do!
