I started my nursing career over 20 years ago, at the age of 30. I initially started nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). I then went on to complete my ADN, BSN and eventually MSN in Nursing Education. After obtaining my BSN, I began to teach as an adjunct at a local nursing college. It was during this time, I gravitated toward nursing education and wanted to pursuit a career as an educator. My true passion is preparing safe and competent nurses to practice with empathy and compassion.

As your instructor, I will:
• Log into my courses throughout the semester, every workday from the first day of the course through the last day of the course.
• Provide you with updates via MyCourses email or Announcements as needed.
• Respond to all course email within 24 hours, Monday through Friday and within 48 hours during the weekend.
• Notify you in advance if I will be out of contact for more than two days
• Have your assignments and exams graded within 7 business days of the due date.
• Calculate and enter your grade for this course before the submission deadline so you can view your final grade the next day.
• Make myself available to you via MyCourses, phone, email, or in-person to help you with this course.
