I received my Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Brockport in Mathematics Education, and began my teaching career in the Rochester, New York area, teaching mathematics and computer programming classes. Because of a desire to work with the application aspect of mathematics, I started to pursue coursework at Rochester Institute of Technology. I completed my Master’s degree in Applied Statistics there, after which I became an adjunct faculty member at Monroe Community College.
My professional life took a major shift when my family moved. I became part of the business world, working in various arenas as an independent contractor. I have facilitated classes for corporate clients as well as at a local college in various computer applications, specializing in the development of spreadsheet and database technology.
For the past 16 years I have been a facilitator of college math courses on line and since 2011 an adjunct instructor for SPC . I have also facilitated professional growth workshops for teachers in the integration of computer technologies, worked with curriculum development K-12, and have been instrumental in the creation and support of databases for the financial department in a school district where I worked. My most recent endever it to become proficient in Python coding.
In my free time I enjoy playing golf and now I have 5 potental partners ages 5-10
