Dr Pelagia Kilgore
Pelagia Kilgore is a professor at St Petersburg College (seminole campus), Mathematics department. She has been working for SPC since 2000. She has been teaching mathematics since 1995. She has taught various courses including Geomety, Trigonomety, Pre Calculus, Statistics I, College Algebra and Intermediate Algebra.
She was the Instructor in Charge of Mathematics at the Tarpon Springs Campus and is currently the assistant dean of mathematics North County.
Dr. Kilgore has also earned a Ph.D in Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Kilgore's interests include (and in order ;-)) spending time with her daughter & husband, education and mathematics, Yoga, Pilates, running, kayaking and nutrition.
Research interests include making Mathematics Education a fun, safe learning environment and developing proper nutrition and exercise regiment for students so they are more productive and healthier individuals.
