After serving more than 38 years in municipal government, Jeff Kronschnabl retired as Director of the City of Clearwater, Florida’s Development & Neighborhood Services to further pursue his teaching career and consulting company business practices.  In August, 2010 Mr. Kronschnabl applied for and was appointed “Instructor in Charge” of Saint Petersburg College’s new and exciting Public Policy and Administration Baccalaureate Program.

He is a recognized expert in the area of community partnerships, consensus building, public administration strategies, police tactical/SWAT operations, narcotics investigations and classroom instruction.  This unique mix of qualifications makes Jeff a much sought after individual to assist communities, teaching institutions and governments around the Country with their review and implementation strategies relating to the development of neighborhoods, public/private partnerships, performance reviews, public policy administration, and a myriad of quality of life issues.

Upon completion of a distinguished career in law enforcement, Mr. Kronschnabl accepted the position of Special Assistant to the City Manager and put together a diverse and complex mix of disciplines into what became known as the City’s Development & Neighborhood Services Department.  The department consisted of the building, permitting, plans review, neighborhood services and code compliance sections for the City.  The programs developed under his leadership are nationally and internationally emulated.

His distinguished teaching career includes serving as an adjunct instructor for the University of South Florida’s Public Administration Program, Saint Petersburg College’s Community Policing Program and the F.B.I. Academy’s International Leadership Development Program  - in partnership with the University of Virginia.

Mr. Kronschnabl’s education includes a Bachelors Degree with Honors from St. Leo College, majoring in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree with Honors from the University of South Florida, majoring in Public Administration.  In addition, Jeff is a graduate of the internationally recognized/prestigious F.B.I. National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
