Dr. Lindsay Largent graduated from Kansas State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Largent spent time working as a surgical tech in eye surgery, a Patient Services Specialist with the American Cancer Society, and a Physical Therapy Tech with Florida Hospital.  She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in 2005. She has worked in multiple clinical settings with the majority of experience in Trauma and ICU at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL and Bayfront Home Health. She has enjoyed being a Clinical Instructor and a CCCE (Center Coordinator of Clinical Education) for both Physical Therapy and Physical Therapist Assistant students. Dr. Largent became a Certified Clinical Instructor with the American Physical Therapy Association in 2007. 

During her years with Bayfront Medical Center, Dr. Largent was a leader on the Early Mobilization Team, a Trainer for Team Member Ergonomics and Orientation, and a regular participant in interdiscplinary Trauma Rounds to advocate for her patients' need for Physical Therapy and mobility. She was also a key presenter in the SPC Critical Care Conference in 2016.

Dr. Largent joined St. Petersburg College in the fall of 2019 as an adjunct faculty member in the Physical Therapist Assistant program and served as an adjunct instructor for Anatomy and Kinesiology. In January 2020, Dr. Largent accepted the Academic Department Chair of Clinical Education position for the SPC PTA program. She continues to serve as faculty instructor for Basic Patient Care, Functional Anatomy and Kinesioloy, and Orthopedic Disabilities and Treatments.

In her free time, Dr. Largent enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places with travel.
