My educational background began at SPJC with an AA in Fine Arts, then moved to USFSP for a BA in English. I completed my MA in Education at USFSP with a focus on creative nonfiction, nature essays, and composition and rhetoric. I have taught at Northeast High for 12 years. I teach Journalism, Creative Writing, Critical Reading, AP Composition and Rhetoric, and Dual Enrollment with St. Petersburg College (SPC). I am the advisor for Northeast High School's newspaper, Nor'easter, and literary magazine, Soundings.
