Katherine Pratt
Katherine Pratt is the Foreman Biodiversity Fellow at Stetson University College of Law where she has worked in support of the Institute for Biodiversity Law and Policy since 2021. Her work with the Institute includes research on current United States wetland policy in practice and a collaborative project analyzing the cooperation of parties to international environmental treaties. Additionally, Katherine is an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, teaching environmental regulation and at St Petersburg College, teaching environmental law. Prior to joining Stetson, Katherine worked in regulatory compliance for a multinational consultancy firm. She earned her BS at the University of Tennessee and her JD from Stetson Law with a concentration in Environmental Law. Prior to attending college, she was on active duty with the U.S. Navy. In her spare time, she volunteers with the nonprofit Sea Turtle Trackers, Inc., locating sea turtle nests, conducting nesting surveys, and educating the public on sea turtle conservation in Pinellas County, Florida.
