I have a variety of law enforcement experience which includes patrol, narcotics, investigations, and administrative duties. I was assigned to a multi-jurisdictional task force whose primary focus was narcotics, gangs, and recurring crime trends. In 2008, I was employed by the F.B.I. as an Honors Intern and assigned to the Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.
I have investigated a variety of crimes including traditional and computer related offenses such as network intrusion investigations and online solicitation. I served as the department’s gang intelligence and suppression officer and was responsible for educating others on gang trends and identifying and documenting gang members. My administrative experience includes oversight of the records department, implementation and management of the alarm monitoring system and the department's report management system.
In 2012, I attended a total of eight weeks at the Secret Service's National Computer Forensics Institute in Hoover Alabama. Upon my return, I created a digital forensics lab where I perform digital forensic exams for the district.
I believe that every student is capable of learning and that students learn in different ways. As an instructor, I want to be available to my students and leave a lasting, and positive impact in the lives of each one of them.
