I received my AA degree from St. Petersburg College, my BS from UCF and my MLA from USF-SP in Florida Studies. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D at Nova Southeastern University in Instructional Technology and Distance Education (OTDE). I enjoy bringing the Florida aspect to American History.

I have been teaching in the public school system for 30 years, both at the middle and high school levels. I also teach the Dual Enrollment US History course at the high school campus.

I am married to Daryl Schuster, also an adjunct instructor at SPC. We have two children, both SPC Alumni.

I enjoy passing on a knowledge and developing a love for history where none existed before.
