Hello All,
My name is Kaylie and I am a dual certified Registered Nurse and Paramedic. My background includes work as a Paramedic for Sunstar and All Children Hospital, and as a Registered Nurse for All Children Hospital in the CVICU and ER and at HCA Sarasota Doctros Hospital in the ER. I still practice as a Registered Nurse at Sarasota Doctors Hospital in the ER as a staff nurse and relief charge nurse. I have been working with the EMS program at SPC since 2017 and absolutely LOVE education.
I am married and I have two wonderful little munchkins. I also have 2 pets; a dog and cat. I am your resident Harry Potter expert as many of my students will tell you. I commonly quote the movies encouraging lines. I also spend a great deal of time reading with my preferred genres being fantasy and sci-fi.
My family and I love sports we are a split household supporting both the Buffalo Bills and the New Orleans Saints.

When it comes to teaching especially in my field of Emergency Medical Services I have one big take away: The patients you will serve may one day be your own family. So learn all you can to treat every patient like it is your most loved one. Learn your learning style, be hands on and always ask questions! No question is irrevelevant. Your educational journey here is to prepare you to be positively impactful out there.
