My background in biology focused primarily on entomology and biological field technique. I have always loved the study of insects and like to find ways to integrate them into my class. I prefer an active learning style with field research, facilated learning, and the use of the natural environments as a classroom. I want my students to engage in discussions and think about the learning experience. I am a kayaker and bike, and spend much of my time on the water exploring mangrove habitats. I love teaching and helping my student with their success in class. I am here to assist in your learning.
