Ms. Jacqueline Zolecki

Ms. Jacqueline Zolecki, MS, is as a full-time Cybersecurity Professor at St. Petersburg College’s of Computer and Technology Institute (CCIT). Born and raised in Wisconsin. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. My passion for technology led me to receive my Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Saint Leo University. Drawing on experience in the physical world and in technology, I understand cybersecurity from multiple angles.
I hold industry certifications such as CompTIA’s Security+ and CySA+, CompTIA’s Security Analytics Professional (CSAP), AWS Academy Educator, IBM’s Information Technology Fundamentals, IBM’s Customer Engagement: Problem Solving Process Controls, and more.
I am an active member of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), a member of CompTIA’s instructor network. Tampa Bay InfraGard member, and an OpenAI Forum member. In my free time I like to volunteer my time to help with the cybersecurity club at St. Petersburg College, helping mentor and support students in learning and improving their cybersecurity skills. Faculty Advisor and member of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) for St. Petersburg College’s chapter, and apart of Florida’s planning committee and member of Women in Security and Privacy (WISP). I help with event planning, growing membership, and sponsorship outreach. In 2025, I was recognized and received an Award of Excellence and an Honorary Attendee of FutureCon, a leading Cybersecurity conference.
I am committed to ongoing professional development in cybersecurity, regularly attending workshops and earning certifications from respected organizations. These include credentials from Scythe’s Hunting Through the SIEM workshop, Netskope Certified SASE Essentials Administration, AWS Artificial Intelligence Practitioner Learning Plan certificate, certificate of completion for An Essential Guide to AI for Educators, and many more.
