I am a first generation college graduate. I graduated with an A.A. from St. Petersburg College. I received a B.A. in English Literature and a M.A. in English Education from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. I am also a former doctoral candidate in English Literature from the University of South Florida Tampa. I've taught English Composition I and II, Introduction to Short Story, and Introduction to Literature. I've also worked as a writing consultant at the USF Writing Studio.
