I am here to help you be successful! Please, never hesitiate to reach out to me via email or stop by during office hours. I have over ten years experience in nursing. I started my career in acute care, on an ortho/neuro trauma unit. Since becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner my focus has shifted to primary care. Over the last several years I have served as clinical adjunct and full time facutly at Austin Peay State Univeristy. In addition to teaching the next generation of nurses, my passion is public health. I completed most of my NP training at the Tennessee Department of Health. I have also worked along side Customs and Border Protection providing medical services to migrants and asylum seekers in El Paso, TX. When I'm not working, I love to travel, go rock climbing or take my dog to the beach!

As your instructor, I will:​

• Log into this course throughout the semester, every work day from the first day of the course through the last day of the course.​
• Provide you with updates via Course Mail or Announcements as needed​
• Respond to all course mail and voice mail messages within 24 hours Monday through Friday and within 48 hours during the weekend. ​
• Notify you in advance if I will be out of contact for more than two days.​
• Have your assignments and exams graded within seven business days of the due date.​
• Calculate and enter your grade for this course before the submission deadline so you can view your final grade the next day.​
