I worked in insurance and technology for over 25 years and then decided to return to college and get a degree in English Education and Tech Writing.

My educational background:

     I completed my A. A. as one of the members of the first graduating class from St. Petersburg College.

     I then went to USF - St. Petersburg, where I completed my B.S. in English Education and my B. A. in Technical Writing.  Two years later I completed my M. A. in English Education.

Philosophy:

     Learning is a life long process and teaching should make the journey enjoyable.

Work Experience:

     I am currently teaching Composition I, Basic Writing I, Basic Writing II, and Writing Bridge to Success at the Clearwater Campus.
     I teach Language Arts, including English IV Florida College Prep, Advanced Placement Language & Composition, English II, and various Reading courses at a local high school in Pinellas County.
