Tim Fair, LCPO earned his bachelor’s degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics in 2006 from UTSouthwestern. Prior to this he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas Christian University with an emphasis in biomechanics and a minor in Physics.  He completed his residency in Orthotics at the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Tampa, FL and joined Hanger Clinic to complete his prosthetic residency from 2007-2008.

He was awarded ABC certification as a Prosthetist-Orthotist in 2009 and was subsequently licensed by the State of Florida.  He gained experience in managing many different patient populations and learned proficient use of many different O&P technologies including various microprocessor controlled prosthetic knees, various elevated vacuum systems, various stance controlled orthoses and the WalkAide® functional electrical stimulation.  He was part of a national educating team on the management of Hip Disarticulation amputees and also served as Director of Residents for the Florida region within the company.  In 2016, he completed his Master's degree in Instructional Design & Technology and applies the skills learned through that program of study in his current courses to improve learning for his students.

He has taught and assisted in several lectures for the SPC O&P department and Workforce Institute (continuing education) courses since 2008.  He was married to Jenn in 2012 and enjoys cooking, watching movies and actively participating in his church.
