Emily earned her doctorate degree (PhD) in special education from the University at Buffalo,
as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Special Education from Daemen College.
For the completion of her doctorate, Emily received funding as an Office of Special
Education Programs research fellow. Her teaching experience includes instruction as
an adjunct faculty at the University at Buffalo, and as a primary and secondary special
education teacher.
