My educational background includes a B.A. City College of New York; M.S. Hunter College of New York and a doctorate in Sociology from the City University of New York Graduate Center.  Research interests and projects include teenage pregnancy and studies of family life in the United States.  Currently, I am addressing issues of economic inequality, youth and educational equity.
