Welcome Biologists! I am very enthusiastic about our Bacc Bio program and all the exciting projects and courses that are available to you across all our campuses. Currently I teach Genetics, Developmental Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Journal Club, Theory and Practice in the Biological Sciences, Senrior Seminar, Science Communication on-line and Biotechnology of the summer. I am also actively involved in undergraduate research and am the faculty mentor for the SPC Bacc Bio Internship program.

My research focus is in the field of Developmental and Cellular Biology although I absolutely love every part of science from molecules and embryos to waves and machines! When I am not in the classroom I am most often found exploring our natural waterways by canoe or kayak- fishing, snorkeling and all around loving the outdoors. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals of learning how cells work, how science is done and what makes us what and how we are!
