I am a natural historian with a primary interest in geology and oceanography. My current photo shows me on the continental divide (with my mom) between the Yukon Territory and Alaska in the summer of 2004. I teach all of my classes in the traditional lecture format (I often bring in topical items of interest, it is important to attend lectures to keep up to date). My hobbies include golf, hiking, canoeing and scuba diving.
