For nearly 20 years, I was an electrical engineer, designing integrated circuits for space applications.  A few years back, I moved out to Seattle, WA and had the opportunity to go to culinary school, another passion of mine.  All through my career and career changes, I've been involved in tutoring or teaching math … something that I’ve always enjoyed.   Now, I get to do both!

I received my BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and my MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. 

My goal is to help as many students as I can achieve their goal in mathematics so they can continue on in their area of specialization , and have fun at the same time.

Outside of math-time,  I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two kitties, running and swimming, cooking, and eating, of course!
